About The Papa Midnight Band

The Papa Midnight Band bills itself as the finest power blues in the Cape Fear region, and their sets travel through Chicago, Delta, and Piedmont blues styles with plenty of rock muscle behind them. Frontman Greg "Coletrain" Cole handles lead vocals and harmonica, a craft he has been working at for roughly three decades, while bassist Todd Grenier brings alternative rock and metal roots that add real punch to the low end. The band has also played the Cape Fear Blues Festival, so this is a group with serious local credentials.
